Juan R. Napoles, ACSW #128420
My name is Juan R. Napoles. I am a proud older brother, first-generation, queer, and Mexican-born immigrant thearpist. I graduated in 2017 from UCLA with a bachelor's of arts degree in psychology and a minor in education studies. I also received a master’s of social welfare (MSW) degree from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs in 2024. I was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico and I embrace my cultural identity as a form of resistance and pride.
First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge your efforts in taking the initiative to find an adequate mental health therapist that can best address your needs. This is your first step towards reaching your goals, and you should be extremely proud of yourself. I know this may be an overwhelmingly stressful and scary process (trust me, I've been there), but I can assure you that this self-exploration odyssey you're embarking on can be rewarding, cathartic, and alleviating.
I am currently being supervised by Carlos P. Duarte, LCSW# 95070
